  4. i got 2 PC of 36watts each, i was thinking of getting the agramax as zygote2k suggusted, and i would seed it from my main tank sand bad. time isn't an issue at the moment, i just want to get it done the right way. the tank already has about 15lbs of ls already in it, and the tank is running already only with sand and water and couple of nas. snails in the sand, i also seen couple of bristle worms going out at night
  5. i like this idea, i would just need to get about 80lbs of sand (by RC sand calculator) it would also keep everything closer to the light for how long will i need to let it cycle if it's 6-8" sand bed?

  10. My emerald crabs grew huge in the last year an a half, some of them are over 2" big at the moment, with huge claws, however i never seen them pick at anything beside green algae i once had a starfish with a taste for fish, i had this long nose butterfly that he took care of once it was injured... but like i said i never had any problems with those emerald crabs even those they could easily catch fish, and sometimes when the fish bother them they stand on their legs and open their claws, but i never seen them attack anything
  11. The nano isn't sitting close the the main system. i was thinking of doing 50% water changes with the big system once a week, i also was thinking of filling the back section of the nano with bio balls..... the nano tank is standing with only sand and water at the moment, it was full with rocks until i decided to move everything to the big system i never attempted frag tank before, anyhow i am not planning to have any fish in it, maybe an arrow crab and couple of snails. so i wouldn't know what would be a good filtration system for it. - Motti
