Hi All,
Just wanted to share my experience with these LED Drivers. I found about these drivers on RC few weeks ago, they are pretty much all in one kind of a solution, the 700L will accept up to 36v, and will output regulated current and will drive as few as one led (perfect for smaller tanks).
I ended up ordering these drivers from Alibaba, wasn't able to find it anywhere else, I've paid about 61 dollars including 30 dollars shipping and handling fees from Taiwan. If used along side the PWM shield from adafruit it can provide you with 4095 pwm steps, with the lowest one is 1 on my leds, 0 will turn them off completely.
The other benefit is using that pwm shield is that it's only required 2 wires to operate, and won't use any of your Arduino PWM channels.
For my Red Sea Max I created 7 channels:
1. Blue
2. Royal Blue
3. 10k
4. 6.5k
5. Purple
6. UV (waste of led space, they are really not that bright, purple bring up the color much better, i will probably swap them out for purple in the future)
7. Pink (really adds a nice touch, especially for sun-up sun-down kind of setup).
Unfortunately I always forget to take pictures of when I build things, and don't have any pictures to show. I do however have 4 spare breakout boards, each board can hold up to 4 drivers.
