I'm alive! So is the tank. I'll get some pictures up.

Looking for some suggestions for my 70g tank....I have a pair of Ocellaris clowns and a tomini tang who are mean. I've recently added a six line and a one spot foxface, but before that the clowns and the tang killed several wrasses and a pygmy angel. The six line and foxface are holding their own. Looking to add another fish or two while I still can....any recommendations? Needs to be shrimp/crab safe and relatively coral safe.

This is the answer....light and nutrients affect the growth and hence alk consumption considerably.

It's not easy being right all the time

I also have Florida live rock in my tank and have similar algae - some sort of turf algae? I did a test of it with Flucanzole and it did take care of it. I haven't dosed the tank but I have noticed the algae is receding (I have chaeto in the fuge so it may be outcompeting it). I have noticed it does grow strongly in low nutrients so it is a bit of a pain.

I cannot wait to see how mean that female will get. We had the ocellaris pair in that tank and the female bit my hand every time I was in there. Drew blood sometimes. And she still does in the new tank. I wonder how clownfish sushi tastes?

Looking for recommendations on fish. Right now I have the two clowns, the komini tang and and algae blenny. The female clown can be very aggressive, and the komini can be as well. For whatever reason they dont mind hanging around each other at all. They did harass the blenny but they seem to be accepting him. Anyways, we want more fish, but something that can hang with tougher fish. And, not eat our cleaner shrimp (breeding pair) and firefish. Any suggestions?
