  1. I was wondering if you knew if the clowns were a maited pair or if it is just a tank pair. Is there anyway to get some pics of the clowns as well. Thanks Josh
  2. I had a yellow clown goby as my first fish, He was pretty cool but I think he made my clam mad. I recently saw the green clown goby and the coloring on those are really cool. So Its a possibility. My last clown goby would perch on my Female Clown and go for rides. It was really funny to watch. If I could get a program to Cut videos and make them shorter I would post it. Thanks for the good suggestion
  3. I am thinking about turning a little 10 gallon tank into a sump/refuge. I am just trying to get an idea of what would be needed to do this and what you guys recommend from prior experiences before I decide whether or not to use the 10G as a Sump or a QT. Also if anyone has any of the required materials to do this please let me know :P Donations Accepted :P Thanks Josh
  4. No, I dont mind, I like hearing about the different setups people are interested in and learning about whats available. Good Info :P
  5. Thanks for all the advice everyone, I will probably hold off on the angels and also the watchman. I will probably look more into the Orange spot and a lawnmower, and my clowns. Thats probably all I will have for a while unless something catches my attention :P
  6. Anyone have any experience with the watchman goby and other blennys and gobys. Also what about the angels, PROs and Cons
  7. Ok, So I am trying to plan what I will be getting when my tank is ready again.(7 weeks and Counting impatiently) I will definatly be getting a mated pair of clowns. Not sure what kind yet but I kind of want something different like the Onyx clowns or Picasso clowns but not sure yet. I am really interested in getting an orange spotted blenny and also a yellow watchman goby. I have also been looking at the lemonpeel angel, bi-color angel, and flame angel(of course I wouldnt get all of them just one.) I would like to get both the goby and the blenny but will those angels be to much to keep in my tank. Also will the goby and blenny get along ok. I am also open to suggestions for different fish. I will be getting more LR as well so there will be more hiding spaces and such. Thanks Josh
  8. Then I would definitley love a piece when he has some available, the picture that he has looks really cool.
  9. If they are easy, I would like a Frag when they become available. Just a small piece. Just let me know when and how much Thanks Josh
  10. I just loved my last pair :( and seeing traveler7s presentation at the last meeting really got me inspired to get something a little different.
  11. Well I definitly want to get another mated pair of clowns something kind of rarer like a black Oscellaris or Picasso Clowns. I am also looking at the Orange spotted blenny. and I wouldnt mind getting a dwarf angel but I dont know much about them. I really like the Fire angel and the Lemon peel angel but dont know much about the space required and temperment. Any Suggestions from anyone. I also want to get more LR just waiting for someone to give it away I guess :P, Just kidding just looking for the right deal to come along for LR. Oh yeah, Forgot, I am probably going to get a small Lawnmower Blenny to get rid of some of that algae. :P
  12. Yep, 8 weeks is my time. I mean 7 weeks 1 day I am also battleing Red Slime agae or Cynobacteria. but I think it is getting under control.
  13. Sorry, need to update my signature. I am working on getting another 15-20 pounds of LR, I have gotten a new skimmer that is working great and looking into the UV Sterilizer.
  14. Actually, Unfortunately the Hippo was the first to go. She died the day that we were going to make the trade. :( I don't plan on restocking it with the Hippo. Probably just another Mated pair of clowns, also probably a six line wrasse, and not sure what else I am going to get. Taking suggestions for the future Thanks Josh
  15. Doug, Don't worry too much about it. I dont think that we could have done much, They werent looking very good when I contacted you. I am just going to focus on getting my 10 QT tank setup and established. Thanks for the help everyone and I will be waiting. What do you recommend to do to "Test" to see if the ich is in there in a few weeks. Do I just wait my time and then risk with putting the fish I want in there. Or do I get a cheap "Test" fish and see how it does. Thanks again everyone Josh
  16. Yeah Troy, The ich got the goby too. I appreciate all the help and I know to slow down now that its too late. I am just glad that I havent lost all my corals, inverts and my nem. This will give my tank a chance for the ich to cycle without killing anything else. It makes me feel a little better that I am not the only one that has done it but sometimes people have to learn from experience. I will wait a few weeks and let the Ich die out and wait for my $FUNDS$ to build back up since they all just visited the porcelin god. Thanks again everyone Josh
  17. Ok, Well Unfortunatly Ich attaked all of my fish really hard and killed them all with the quickness. I didnt have time to get them in the proper QT before it was too late. I am going to go a while with no fish and was just wondering how long I should wait before getting some. How long will it take for the Ich to die out. Is a month long enough? With this I will be looking for a mated pair of clowns when the time comes if anyone will have any, please let me know. Thanks for the advice Josh
  18. Currently it is getting a diet of DT's and a couple of small squirts of ?Arctopods? (I think) along with half a cube of marine cuisine for the other fish.
  19. Sorry, I think it is about 10 Hours. I will give you a more exact time when I get home.
  20. Although I did not listen to this advise when I started it is highly recommended to hold off on the anemone until your tank has been established for a few months or so. If they die or get sucked into the powerhead it can cause big problems with the tank. I am also new to the hobby and it is a scary process when the anemone doesnt look too good or even when it is moving around making eveything fall off the LR. Here is a good site that I found about anemones. http://www.carlosreef.com/AnemoneFAQ.pdf Hope this helps.
  21. The Clam Is only MAYBE 2". It was a smaller one that I got from BRK.
  22. Pics of Clam Opened Up just now. These Look better? or am I wrong. any suggestions if this isnt right.
  23. The pics of the clam was when I first got him and was trying to find a good location for him. He opens up fully now and seems to be doing really well I will Update those pics. The new pics with it closed up is because anytime I go by the tank it closes up and I had been moving stuff around. It does open up fully
