My big problem with all this in that of funding. A professor at my school has been working the global warming thing for a long time. I don't think he believes it. The people that I know that work with him say it has to do with funding. The funding he gets for his global warming research helps fund everything else he does. There is no money in saying global warming does not exist. The money is being sent to the researchers to show that there is global warming.

You are going to miss a few things. There is no HEB, Jack in the box, Taco Cabana, 24-hour Walmarts, or Whataburger. The prices on fish are a little bit more. I buy my equipment from the same online store so that didnt change. Sales tax is 5% instead of 8.25%. Also, there are these things called hills here. It is crazy. I had not seen hills since I lived in CA. Living in Manassas you will be close to BRK (Blue Ribbon Koi) which is a great store.

Grav mentioned the same thing about the bubbles in an email to me. He said what would work well is to use under-over-under instead of over-under-over on the baffles. The water level in that last compartment should be the only thing that fluctuates. I will have it controlled by my ATO, but it has a range of a couple inches. I put the water level a little low in the picture so that you could see it was indeed different.

That should do fine. However, most of us on this forum are not entirely comfortable ordering electronics from unknown brands. It might be worth a shot. It should give enough light. I don't know how deep your tank is though.

I don't believe a 30g will fit in the stand. The tank was in hypo because my tangs didn't like the QT. Most of the fish got ich. I lost my powder brown, but everything else is fine now and has been for about a month. I just got the tank back up to regular salinity a couple days ago.

You are running an AC 70 as a fuge? I have an AC-70 on my AP24 for Carbon and whatnot. I was able to also get a CPR Bak-Pak on mine. I also put a fan on the back to keep it cool. The back of my tank is very full.

I have the bio-wheels in because I was in hypo and lost the functionality of my live rock (dead rock now). I just got the tank back up to normal salinity and have placed a few pieces of live rock back in the tank to seed the rock. The bio-wheels are coming out by the weekend. That Penguin filter is mainly there for carbon purposes (well...once I pull the bio-wheels).

Did I spawn this epiphany of yours Jason? Anyways, I agree completely. It would be nice to go to one area and see all the tank threads. Also, things get pushed to page 2 and 3 quickly in the general discussion so it is sometimes hard to keep up with all of the tank threads I like to watch. Good idea Jason.
