  1. Generally, if there are bulk prices (like staggered pricing based on how much you buy), when I log in, I only see the bulk (lowest) price for most items. Tracy
  2. It's funny. When I saw you post it over on your thread, I thought "wow, it looks a lot like that bright blue one in the coldwater thread!". LOL Nice one! Tracy This is what really made me bookmark that thread, and the reason I'd love to set up a cold water tank. (plus, the beautiful colorful anemones and starfish). This has got to be the coolest looking fish I've ever seen!!
  3. This one: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/RO/DI-Filter...oduct_info.html It was $129 in the group buy we did. The cool news is that enough people signed up that lots of the discounts will stay with our accounts permanently! Tracy
  4. I wondered who would snag up those cardinals. He had a whole tank full of them last time I was in. I live in Ashburn, and am there at least once a week or so. (might be less once I get my RO unit up and running.....sorry, Sean :() Anyway, Sean is always awesome, and I'd never hesitate to recommend F&F to anyone. Tracy
  5. re: the refugium I just have a small amount of "grunge" from the LFS. They call it live sand, but it was basically chunky gunk filled with all sorts of shells and creatures. Also a smattering of rock rubble and chaeto. That's it for mine. Tracy
  6. Wow, that was easy. Thanks, Doug! Mission accomplished. Tracy
  7. Just got my RO/DI unit. They forgot to ship the connectors, and are sending them out today. In the mean time, I was looking at it, and the blue tubing on the DI unit is currently installed in the "IN" port. I don't need it in the "IN" port, as that will come directly from the RO unit and is already attached. I want to remove the tubing from the "IN" port on the DI, and move it to the "OUT" port. Do I just remove the little clip and yank really hard to get it out? I don't want to break it, so I thought I'd ask here before I do something I regret. Thanks! Tracy
  8. Well, good luck with it. Seems like getting livestock is the hardest part. Keep us posted.... Tracy
  9. Oh my gosh, is it this guy? http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...mp;pagenumber=1 I bookmarked this thread over on RC because the tank is sooooo beautiful! Tracy
  10. Looking great, Bob! Did you get the rock with the green mushrooms from Steve? They are funny shrooms....like to be vertical and hang like that. I started with one, and now have seven. They can get huge! I really like them....they fill stuff in. Tracy
  11. Several weeks back, Sean at F&F had the largest lawnmower blenny I ever saw. The thing was GINORMOUS!
  12. Hang in there, Dave. It's probably a good lesson for the kids to see how sensitive these systems can be. Chin up! Tracy
  13. Cleaning it would be a beast. Interesting concept though. Tracy
  14. Well, I wouldn't recommend it for those living in Ashburn. Had to top off with tap for a few days a few weeks back when my car was in the shop longer than expected. The delayed result: diatoms, two little tufts of hair algae, and one small spot of cyano on a rock. Easy enough to deal with, and I don't expect them to be around for long, but they DID turn up! I know exactly where they came from though, and was prepared to deal with the consequences. My RO/DI unit arrives today! LOL Tracy
  15. Yay!!!! Try to get some pics when you can..... Tracy
  16. Is this the tank that inspired Bandit, the Splendid? Tracy
  17. Forrest, Go look at Garret's post #11. It looked pretty specific as a rec from A. Calfo.... Tracy
  18. check ammonia levels asap! Tracy
  19. LOL, nope. It was the word that describes which gender she is. She finished her championship at that show, with a 5 point major on the last day! Tracy
  20. How's that anemone look in person? Dying to see it!!! Tracy
  21. Wow....they really do look like pizzas! This is a little OT, but have you anemone lovers seen this guy on Diver's Den? They say it is a South Pacific Anemone...whatever that means....but it sure is beautiful! http://www.liveaquaria.com/diversden/detai....cfm?DDID=33852 Tracy
  22. You have one?? I was THIS close to getting one months back from BRK. I love her!! Tracy
  23. TOTM? Listen....sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Kudos for a healthy, thriving tank!! Tracy
  24. Well, the cheapo glass thermometer shows that my tank is spot-on 80 degrees. *That* I can live with. I worried about putting glass in there, so I stuck it inside of my CPR pre-skimmer. The sides are clear acrylic, and in spite of coralline build-up, I can read it and it will be safe in there should the suction cup fail. Thanks all! Some times hi-tech is NOT better. LOL Tracy
