  1. nice i really like it! !! i feel like an open brain, (either a lobo or trachphyllia (sp?) would look perfect in your tank and that frag rack is so "cute" like its actually adorable!! haha i want one!
  2. OOOO haha yup would love to see new pics im sure a lot has changes since when i saw it this summer
  3. A trick mike told me, though im not all together positive the details is that he takes a piece of PVC piping fills it up with sand, (either sitcks the thing where he wants the anemone or sticks the sand filled pvc in the sand,) and lets puts the LTA in there and then the LTA will work it self down to a desired position and then just build rock around it or already has the rock around it.... i think.. something along those lines im sure it will work. maybe haha
  4. update photos? (to completely revive a dead thred much? haha just interested!)
  5. what type of paly?/zoas? are those?

  13. i went in there today to pick up some food and was looking around they were trying to sell a black suncoral large frag for 80$ that was practically completely bleached except for a few polyps... idk i thought it was a bit ridiculous.. again i got 10%! even though they claim to not do anything with wamas! did they used to? and thats why they know about it... or is it that they do grant wamas they just dont want to admit it?
  14. thanks! should i wait like a couple days w/o feeding so any he would rather get food cuz of lack of scraps? or does it matter
  15. I believe i have a small gorilla crab in my tank- i have been aware of its presence for some time now because i saw its molts hanging around- how ever its gettting bigger and im worried it will eat my fish one day id say its body is about the size of a quarter i finally saw the actual crab a day or two ago and just saw it again today i guess currently its a good tank mate since its cleaning up all the extra mysis my fish fdont eat... but i rather it not get the palate for purple firefish or blenny how do i get rid of it

  23. so i cleaned my skimmer, fixed my power heads... annnd manually removed as much as possible.. its slowly coming back but i can manage it now my friend is buyying me a fish for the holidays and i was giving her a list of fish to gett and where to get it from and i was thinking for one option a longnosed hawkfish? is there any bad exxperiences i should know or behavioural issues? i know my dad really likes them so i thought it would be a good idea!? but there are other fish on the list too that i know are ok... this one i wasnt sure they have jumping issues right? and also hmm what else idk haha im also gonna get my clownfish in a month or two. !!! i decided to go with misbared but i might change my mind before then! should i try to get my fish to eat flake also? How do you do that? do they know to eat flake? haha i sound stpid! but like is theere any special technique to ween them on flake or should i stick with mysis? oh and update on seahorses! 4 2-4month old fry 1 7.5 month old adult :D (i raised) 2 adult male fry!
  24. im also tagging along! just cuz no one likess a million posts about the same thing ok so im gonna need to start Kalkwassering soon! not too soon but when i get corals at the zoo we just add " this much *insert width of index finger and thumb in C form*" haha tahts what we call it. but the tanks are so big generally that it doesnt make a HUGE impact if added correctly. but my tank is so small and i dont want to over dose and i dont have a calcium reactor to control.... how is it done?
