I have been using Oceanic Salt for the past year and haven't had any problems with it, however that doesn't mean that it is the best salt out there... What salt mixes out there do you use? and how well has it worked out for you? What do you think is the most cost effective salt brand out there? consider cost, amount (200 gallons ect) ease of use, dissolves easily, concentration of calcium... I have tested a fresh batch of Oceanic salt mix last night and the water specs were: RO Water used : 6 tds Ammonia : 0 Phosphates : 0 (from what I can tell, the colors are hard for me to distinguish) Nitrates : 0 Calcium : 330 (kinda low)

like what everyone else says, I wouldn't worry about it too much but if you do spring a leak have some plastic storage containers handy to transplant all of your corals and fish... also have a surplus of powerheads and heaters... then buy a bigger tank! you can find some nice cheap plastic tubs at walmart for $4 each, I have 6 of them in storage right now. They are stackable for easy storage...

I think Belvior is getting the biggest flux of people... but your right adding 15000 more commuters in your neck of the woods will be a nightmare for traffic... but hey at least we can trade frags easier now!! yeah and I live 5 minutes from Belvior!! traffic is already bad enough for me... on the bright side my housing property value is expected to jump pretty decent...

yes and no... DISA is planing on moving in 2011 roughly... so that pretty much give everyone a lot of time to think about the move or find another job... The date has been pushed back 3 times to my knowledge because of ground breaking delays... I think we are moving to the back nine of the golf course out there... but who knows maybe some of the jobs will transfer to Belvior.

Its better to have a hiding place for your fish then not have them. This reduces the amount of stress on the fish and gives them a nice spot to call "home"

sorry to hear that... might want to try eggcrate over the top of the tank to prevent future "surfing" you can spray paint it black to make it blend in with the tanks trim... again sorry to hear about MOJO....

hey guys don't know what happened to my chaeto but for some odd reason its disappearing! seriously one night I had a fuge full of the stuff but now it has recede to the point to where I have to look for it under rock cliffs... anyone know why? does anyone have any I can have? THANKS!
