lynn.reef.nerd December 8, 2019 December 8, 2019 I have a yellow-belly Hippo Tang in my tank for almost a year now. I bought a zoa from @gws3 called white walker at the last meeting. She absolutely hate those zoas. I would see her take the frag off the rack and throw them on the sand. This happened multiple times. I ended up taking the frag out of the tank but I think she is now going for my other zoas. Is this normal?
hlem December 8, 2019 December 8, 2019 thats interesting. i too had a yellow belly hippo in my frag tank that would grab frags (all kind of coral frags) and throw them around. sold it to a friend and did the same thing to his frags (sps frags). so now he's in my nem tank with no frags
epleeds December 9, 2019 December 9, 2019 I have a very large hippo in one of my tanks that moves things around all the time.
treesprite December 9, 2019 December 9, 2019 Crazy fish. I've had clown fish before that liked to rearrange the tank.
GraffitiSpotCorals December 12, 2019 December 12, 2019 (edited) Hippos have been known to eat zoanthids and other random corals too so I would be very careful. Edited December 12, 2019 by GraffitiSpotCorals
