CO 2 Tanks in the area

I need to replace my 20# CO 2 tank. Where in Northern Virginia will I be able to take my tank and replace it for another without a hazzle? Any suggestions? Recommendations?

I don't know why there are so many concerns on this... Maybe it's just a VA thing... In MD there is a place in gaithersburg/rockville that will do the exchange (similarly there is one up in frederick, MD)... pretty in-expensive...

Well looks like I might be able to help abit here. My wife works for the company that supplies Roberts Oxygen, Air Gas East. Their main plant is in Bladensburg MD, on Kennilworth Ave right next to the Beltway and Parkway. They have a store right infront of the plant so it should be no problem getting your tanks swapped out.

 

As we have just started out 90 gallon tank 3 weeks ago, it's still abit early. But you can bet I'll be making good use of the wife's employee discount when I get my calc reactor :wink:

I just went yesterday and got the discount. 75 for a 5 gallon tank and 16 for a fill.

Our flower shop gas supplier has 20# tanks for $105 and you own.

$25 to exchange. I aways have an extra on hand for my reactor.

I think the 5# tanks are too much trouble.

I've swapped out my 20 lb cylinder at the Manassas Roberts, cost me $22, easy as pie

 

Pick up some spare gaskets for the regulator while your there, you never know when you'll need a new one
