inkbird temp. controller

Anyone use one of these? Was curious how the metal temp probe held up and if it caused any issues.

Ironically, I just found out about these last night after I had a crappy heater blow while curing some rock. I was wondering the same thing about their functionality.

Saw a couple of good reviews on them for what it's worth.

Been using an Inkbird with a Finnex Titanium heater for about 1 year and have had no issues at all. The metal probe is covered in coralline, but that hasn't stopped it from being spot on as I test the temp with a Hanna thermometer about twice a month to make sure it is still spot on before I do my water changes.

I also have the Finnex 500w heater hooked to my ink bird. It's been about 9 months, and has not given me any issue! It replaced the Finnex controller had the plugs had melted on. I do not have a chiller for it, but I'm sure it would work fine for that.
