A.ocellaris June 25, 2018 June 25, 2018 I've noticed that one of the frags I bought in a LFS came with some kind of a "hairy" worm. I tried to manually remove it but it grows back and now it sticking to the sand. It's white/transparent and looks like jelly-fish skin. Il try to take better pics... Heres a pic: GIF so you can see better. https://makeagif.com/gif/reef-FSywJi
dpassar12 June 25, 2018 June 25, 2018 Did you dip the frag? Looks like a Z/P frag dip it again in 50/50 saltwater/peroxide. Were gloves. If that is alive it will not be happy in that dip most likely will fall off on it's own after a few minutes. You can also dip in Bayer if that does not work..
Steve175 June 26, 2018 June 26, 2018 (edited) Pretty sure I saw that on a Twilight zone episode. . . not sure what it is, but it would be gone from my tank. . . Agree with a dip ASAP. . . Edited June 26, 2018 by Steve175
YHSublime June 26, 2018 June 26, 2018 Looks like you've got a spaghetti worm. They don't do harm, if that's what it is, might just irritate your polyps.
A.ocellaris July 2, 2018 Author July 2, 2018 Looked like a spaghetti worm with feather. I did the 50/50 dip and the zoas are recovering. The worm is GONE . Thank you!! Can I try this with SPS or just zoas?
