Gatortailale June 28, 2006 June 28, 2006 As far as I can tell the board is working fine. Perhaps it has something to do with all the rain & flooding the area has been getting. I know my work internet was out all day monday & many other locals & gov agency were without net for a period. Maybe your local ISP was having problems due to rain? Rocko (bob), as new webmaster with admin access, any idea?
rocko918 June 28, 2006 June 28, 2006 Looks like a user error. I have no idea, everything looks fine on my side.

Easy... just follow these steps in the following order. continue to the next step if the problem persists. 1. reboot PC 2. clear the browser cache 3. reinstall the browser 4. reinstall OS 5. change ISP 6. replace the PC -- Rob

This far I can only surf this forum but anywhere else, if you want to talk about me chip better post on another forum I don't think the problem is the net connection Thanks Craig/Chip Will keep on trying

cbashaw June 28, 2006 June 28, 2006 This far I can only surf this forum but anywhere else, if you want to talk about me chip better post on another forum Good point Raf lets give more people a chance to talk about you RC and N-R have lots more members and I'm sure they feel the same way about you Does that mean he needs a new user name? If so we should start a poll to make one up for him.

Raf Can someone help, sounds like my record is corrupted, what can be done for fixing this problem moderators? Mods can you contact Invision Tech Support and ask what can be done? It is a board problem not a user problem. When we get the answer can we added to the HELP section so anyone else have to go through this problem. BTW I have done extensive research online and all I can find is my record is corrupted in the board /software/server SQL table but nothing on how to fix it. Mods again please help. Thanks, Raf
Gatortailale June 30, 2006 June 30, 2006 Last time we had this problem was leishman. He had to register a new account and then we gave him member status. That is why he is leishman2 now. Guess I could delete his old one and rename his new, but I'll have to ask someone like emmisary if that will work.

Guess I could delete his old one and rename his new, but I'll have to ask someone like emmisary if that will work. I don't have access to jack. With shell based access to the system on which this is running along with DB rights I could probably poke around and try to figure out what was going on... In a vacuum I have 0 familiarity with this particular problem. That kind of lack of knowledge hasn't stopped me from solving problems in the past, however.

I would like to give this a try before doing anything else from mySQL, execute the statement below DELETE FROM ibf_topic_markers WHERE marker_member_id=858; that's where the corruption is.
emissary June 30, 2006 June 30, 2006 Uh... DELETE without knowing whether or not it will work, and/or the implications, makes me nervous.
Gatortailale June 30, 2006 June 30, 2006 I sent emissary & rocko info. on how they can be root administrator on board and try to solve issue. Thanks guys for your help! Craig
rocko918 July 1, 2006 July 1, 2006 rsaavedra -- try now. If what emissary did does not work, i saw something in the admin that may help as well. Let us know if you are back on Raf.
emissary July 1, 2006 July 1, 2006 If what emissary did does not work, i saw something in the admin that may help as well. Let us know if you are back on Raf. It *should* work. I did a table repair followed by a table optimize via the SQL Toolbox. Based on the following: http://forums.invisionpower.com/lofiversio...hp/t196907.html I verified that the same query now returns results through the SQL Toolbox -- before I got the same 127 error that he said he was getting.
rsaavedra July 1, 2006 Author July 1, 2006 Well fellows I arrived in FL earlier today and gave the board a try from my PDA and everything seems to be working in order now. Will let all know if anything changes. Thanks All, Raf
