Nakie31 October 29, 2017 October 29, 2017 Hello everyone I have a question, I just finished the cycle on my 45 gal. so I made a refugeeum in the back of my tank and added micro algae and my proteins skimmer, all of a sudden my water became cloudy. It looks like a lot of micro bubbles should I wait to add my fish or can I go ahead and add them.
Origami October 29, 2017 October 29, 2017 You've got microbubbles coming from your skimmer. It may need a couple of days to break in, or you could have it adjusted wrong. Microbubbles won't hurt the fish, but I'd still wait a few days until you've got everything under control and ready.
ABzReef November 6, 2018 November 6, 2018 do you have a picture? it could be bubbles from skimmer, or return pump oor wave maker,
ReefdUp November 6, 2018 November 6, 2018 Small bubbles may be from a pump or your skimmer. They shouldn't be harmful for fish (it is just more oxygen), but they could be harmful to the pumps (i.e., cavitation). There are some thoughts that bubbles of a particular small size may actually be beneficial to corals (last I saw, this was still debatable).Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
