Thank you for your advice and I will definitely use it, but maybe I miss spoke I already have the 200gl. that’s what I started with then I broke it down an now running the 45gl. I will restart the 200gl. in a few months. I think what I need to do is make a meeting so I can ask my questions I person.

One it’s a purple trumpet but it just sits there it won’t open or anything I bought like 4 coral at once but the trumpet is the only one that looks alive.

Hello everyone I have a 45gl. tank I also have a 200gl. which I will be starting back up this summer. When I first became interested in this hobby it was because of the coral the fish we cook but it was the coral that hooked me. Now that I’m in the one thing I can’t get right is coral growth I do my water changes all my levels are right on target, I use the best salt I can afford (hw-Marinemix reefer) so I now think it my lighting so I just got a fluorescent single tube strip light and I thought I had a T5 but it’s a T8 will that hurt the coral of should I go get the T5? Please help. Remember money is tight. Thank you in advance.

Good morning everyone I have a quick question, I have a 45gl. Tank that has been up and running for just about one year, all my levels are right where they should be, in my tank I have a cleaner shrimp which I have had for close to five years, but I just lost my snowflake clown fish that I had for one year. I just added more clean up crew. My question is do you think my tank is stable enough to add 2 small clowns and a lawnmower blenny at the same time after they have been quarantine while add coral?

Ok thanks but I removed the one being chased because it looked like the back fins had been attacked so I put him in the quarantine tank until I got some advice I might have to take it back to the Lfs what do you think cause I would rather take it back then to see it chased all over the tank and have to hide

Hello everyone I have a problem I have 2 purple fire fish that I got together a couple of weeks ago they looked like they were kissing, but now one of the fire fish is very aggressive toward the other one should I remove the aggressor for awhile or should I remove the one being bullied please help if I have to take one back the Lfs I will Thanks in advance

Hello everyone I have two purple fire fish this morning I noticed what looked like they were kissing they have been doing this all day. Is this some type of mating behavior, or is it something else. Has anyone seen this before is so can someone please tell me what’s going on. Thanks

Hay everyone, I have a 45gl. thank, in my tank I already have 1 snowflake clown, and 2 purple fire fish, 1 cleaner shrimp, 2 emerald crabs, handful of snails, and 6 various frags. Over the next year or so I plan on adding more fish. Here are the fish I want to add please tell me what you think or are these to many fish for this tank. In no particular order 1 snowflake clown, 1 green clown gobby, 1 lawnmower blenny, 1 scooter blenny a feather duster, and more coral. So what do you think do I have enough room for everything, just until I get my 200gl. Back up and running. Please let me know what you think.

No this looks like a feather it is actually on the top of the coral and was waving down towards the corals mouth.

Thank you all for your input I live in DC. I got my clown from petco but now I am a little leery to buy from there now just a feeling I have after hearing others horror stories, but my clown is fine. When I first started my journey in this hobby I went to Quantum, but now I mainly visit tropical in SIlver springs. I meet a guy that has been in the hobby for a while, but I can’t remember his name but he said Congressional in Rockville is the that’s the name is a good lfs so I might try there.

Hello everyone I would like to know what are your take on buying fish where do you prefer to buy from. I have limited options so I wounder how do you feel about buying from petco. I did buy my snowflake clown from them and it’s doing great. So if you could let me know where you buy thanks.

Hello everyone can someone please answer this can a scooter blenny and a lawnmower blenny cohabitante in a 45 gallon tank, I also have a snowflake clown fish that I have had for about one and half months is it to late to add another snowflake clown fish or should I introduce them to each other in the qt. tank?

Ok but will the clown stress the fire fish to much or do you think it will resolve itself, and I should just leave things alone.
