Finally getting around to putting this thing together.  Special thanks go out to JOHN FORD for "helping me" with my plumbing (He put it together while I made 4 trips to get supplies we forgot).  Schedule 80 bulkheads dont fit schedule 40 holes......

I look forward to seeing your rock scape!

I don't think you can see it from the mobil imgur site but from the desktop site there is a forums link on each image so pictures will post. From my Iphone I just see a link that I have to follow to see your images.

Any ideas what kind of sand I should use.  Tanks shallow and I dont want it to blow around to much.

I've always been a big fan of Fiji Pink. If you're worried about the sand blowing around, consider going bare bottom. I had black argonite in my prior tank, it was a nice contrast, but a PIA to keep from looking dirty.

I usually use fiji pink on my tanks also.  This tank is only 48x24x12 so pink wont work.  I think link above in my only shot at sand.  Its more of a look down system so I dont want to keep the bottom bare because you will see the brace and the stand cutout

Use particle board then!

Paint the bottom underside white... the brace has enough give to spray paint under it... works...

Has anyone just glued or epoxied sand to the underside of a clear tank?

How you liking that sand choice? Thinking about using it in the 22.

Are you asking about the course aragonite?

Should have went alittle heavier.  The MP40 can move it pretty easily even on lagoon level 4

It'll do for my mp10. Never like a bunch of sand anyways.
