I have my rodi unit connected to a ato, booster pump and electric solenoid. When the ato sensor engages, the booster pump shuts off but water continues to dispense from the rodi unit.

Any ideas? Faulty asov?

It may turn off on it's own after a little bit. However, I ran into the same problem when I had low pressure going into the ASOV. (I'm on a well.) If the front end filters are clogged, this might cause the same problem. Check your filters. Ultimately, in my case, I put a solenoid in front of my membrane stage and force the flow to stop that way.

Thanks for the reply. It'll stop eventually but by then the container will overflow. If I shot off the water supply it'll stop but when I turn it back on the pressure gauge reads 25 psi with the water still flowing.

Try pulling out your sediment filter and carbon stages for a test. See if it stops then. If it does, it may be that your filters are clogged. If it doesn't, it makes me wonder what the pressure is coming into your RO/DI unit.

When I had a similar problem, I changed out the ASOV but it didn't stop the flow. I wound up using a solenoid valve triggered by an Avast ATO sensor. Expensive solution, but it worked.

Is it new?

Install the ASOV in the position shown, i.e. with the bottom side down flat.
It can take a few days to get the air of a new system… In the interim the
ASOV may hum or vibrate and let water drain thru to the drain constantly.
Sometimes several days are needed to absorb the air. Turn unit on its left side,
then right side while opening and closing the fast flush 10 times quickly
