Joshifer September 7, 2016 Share September 7, 2016 (edited) Transformer outside blew. Whole neighborhoods dead. I have prime. Not needed ammonia is 0 but I have no flow. And a battery powered air stone bubbler thing for live bait. How long does that buy me ? The gas powered generator outside is running the fridge. a lot of meat in there that could go bad. I might be able to run the aqua clear off it for some kinda movement/oxygen Edited September 7, 2016 by Joshifer
CarrieB September 7, 2016 Share September 7, 2016 I would think that would hold you until the power is back on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Joshifer September 7, 2016 Author Share September 7, 2016 (edited) Running Aqua clear on high mode. House is HOT. I have a usb mini fan and a usb power bank on hand if the tank gets hot. Update. Power company got here quick because some fancy smansy government senator people live here. They said it'll be on around 8. Good thing i wasn't working today. Nobody home would've known what to do with it. Edited September 7, 2016 by Joshifer
Origami September 7, 2016 Share September 7, 2016 Connect your aquaclear to the cord that's running your fridge. It draws little power and will help with your flow and oxygenation. If it gets too hot in the room, run a fan over the tank. The temperature in a small tank like yours will rise quickly. Keeping it from overheating should be something that you watch carefully. epleeds September 7, 2016 Share September 7, 2016 Plus with the fan running make sure you watch the evaporation or your salinity will skyrocket on such a small tank
