Apex Wav Pumps

Has anyone here purchased the Neptune Systems Apex Wav Pumps?

 

Thoughts?

 

Worth the money?

 

I'm considering them or two gyre 130 to replace my current four hydor korallia 1400 pumps in my 180.

Why do you want to replace the hydor korallia ?  I was thinking of getting them to work with my Apex as Wav pumps.

I haven't picked them up yet, but I've been thinking about it.  My tank's pretty small though (34 Gal display) so I could probably only use 1 as 2 would probably make it like a tsunami in my tank.  I like the idea of controlling it from my Apex but I'm afraid that with only being able to use 1, I'd have too many dead spots.

Why do you want to replace the hydor korallia ? I was thinking of getting them to work with my Apex as Wav pumps.

I have the original Koralia 1400s and loved them. I rearranged my rock work after my move, and I'm looking for a new flow pattern.

 

I'm also looking for a new toy.
