I'm planning to gradually transition over to fresh water as I've read in studies that they grow faster. I plan on fertilizing it with standard bonsai fertilizer. I wish I had done this at the beginning of the summer and had it outside, would've gotten much better growth. I will say this one is ramified very well, I will need to wire it up. brad908 October 30, 2015 Share October 30, 2015 (edited) It needs a whole lot more light than that to really thrive. How tall is that mangrove? It looks way too long and stretching for light.
