How often do you clean your skimmer?

How often do you disassemble and clean your skimmer from top to bottom?  I feel like I was in the "sweet spot" for skimming for a while, but now it isn't doing as well. Just wondering how often you guys disassemble and clean your skimmers.

Way less than I should I presume. I generally wait until it doesn't work like it's supposed to (less foam than normal, etc) and then take it out and completely clean it out.

I clean my pump often. TTypically when performance drops it's calcium buildup in the air lines or ports in my experience

I cleaned the body of mine maybe in the 90s. I clean the top every month or so.

Pretty much whenever it seems to not be functioning optimally or at all ha (sometimes the pump gets clogged with stomatella snail shells or stupid mini ceriths who got through).

It hasn't been 43 years like Paul, but I am starting to notice some loss of "sweet spot" skimming.  I think I will clean it this weekend.

I gave a vinegar bath to both my skimmers back in January, it took almost 6 weeks to get back to the "sweet spot", acted like it was brand new out of box.  I was not happy.  I'm thinking next time, only the collection cup and pump will get the bath.

i cleaned the cup every 2 days. The pump and body got clean around 2-3 months.
