PetCo sells the Russian tortoise I believe that's what they are

I'm against buying anything more than feeder crickets from PetCo or Pestmart... If you're looking for a land turtle or tortoise I would look at somewhere like www.turtleshack.com, they have a good rep and you'll get a healthy turtle. Make sure you do a bit of research, some animals require hibernation which you may or may not want to deal with. Some do better in our climate than others as well.
