vhendrix February 14, 2015 February 14, 2015 (edited) I can't seem to find anything online like this, looks like a spider, much larger than the Zoa eating kind. Lived through my dip procedure apparently. I'd say he could stretch across a quarter easily. Moved like lightning. Thanks Edited February 14, 2015 by vhendrix
vhendrix February 14, 2015 Author February 14, 2015 Definitely not an acro crab. 90% sure its not a decorator crab. I only saw it for 10 seconds, then Benny the Blade spooked it back in the rock. Really freaky. It was gone in a blink. I believe it was coaxed out with some arcti pods.
dshnarw February 14, 2015 February 14, 2015 I didn't see any. Only counted 5 legs. Well, if you say it looks like a sea spider and you didn't see claws, I'd go with sea spider as an initial guess. Time to lure it out for some glamor shots, though, because we're all just taking shots in the dark right now
Prunfarm February 14, 2015 February 14, 2015 I think I see eye stalks, so I'm going with an unknown type of crab.
vhendrix February 14, 2015 Author February 14, 2015 Thanks for the replies. The tank is in my office, I'll see what I can do Monday about getting a better pic.
madweazl February 18, 2015 February 18, 2015 Can probably trap him with the inverted plastic bottle method.
