Regular plant growing CFL from Lowes. I've used them for years. $5

This was kinda a joke. These just came out and I was looking to put them in a garage we are building for a client. I don't know how much they cost yet, but based on their fan price I would not be surprised if they were $500- $1000 per light. We used one of their "regular sized" fan for another client's addition and ceiling fan was $1300.00

 

One of these new lights puts out 52,000 lumens. They are more designed for lighting warehouses but they are LED.

Don't laugh, LEDs can be a nice replacement for a lot of different needs, including growing chaeto.

 

Plant LEDs are pretty costly and utilize mostly reds and a few blues from what I've seen, I bought an LED spot off of one of the Amazon.com Cyber Monday deals to see if it would work when I get my reef back up and running.

I know LED's grow cheato, it was more of the ridiculous lumens this monster puts out.
