I am going to get this set. One of these will be the right size, and I won't ever be so frustrated again trying to unscrew something.

I found that the old PM used Allen heads and sometimes torx.

Fwiw, I got a full range set (husky brand I think) from Home Depot for about $20 years ago.

I am diagnosing and making repairs on four powermodules today and all are torx. you don't need the 7mm, just a pair of needle nose will be long enough to get in from the end and hold the nut in place if you don't have access to one.

Dang Marco... I might hit you up with questions.  Richard is getting me two new ballasts, fans, and end caps.  Giving a full overhaul while I have it all torn apart.

Tape and a pen to label cords should keep me on track hopefully.

sure thing, glad to help where I can bud. that's the way to do it, all at once. sunpower is easier to work on but not as sturdy and strong nor as many fans as the powermodules. yeah lots of WIRES!

yes torx..i got it from lowes..

if you are confused or lost its track.. here's how i got it right.it worked..!!!

good luck~
