DCReefer1964 March 3, 2015 March 3, 2015 I am going to get this set. One of these will be the right size, and I won't ever be so frustrated again trying to unscrew something. http://www.lowes.com/pd_459039-281-1873426_0__?productId=50056365&Ntt=torx+bit&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNtt%3Dtorx%2Bbit&facetInfo=#BVRRWidgetID I found that the old PM used Allen heads and sometimes torx.
YHSublime March 3, 2015 March 3, 2015 Fwiw, I got a full range set (husky brand I think) from Home Depot for about $20 years ago.
monkiboy March 3, 2015 March 3, 2015 (edited) I am diagnosing and making repairs on four powermodules today and all are torx. you don't need the 7mm, just a pair of needle nose will be long enough to get in from the end and hold the nut in place if you don't have access to one. BowieReefer84 March 3, 2015 March 3, 2015 (edited) Dang Marco... I might hit you up with questions. Richard is getting me two new ballasts, fans, and end caps. Giving a full overhaul while I have it all torn apart. Tape and a pen to label cords should keep me on track hopefully. Edited March 3, 2015 by BowieReefer84

BowieReefer84 March 3, 2015 March 3, 2015 Another way to pull things through is using twine. Tied to a wire to pull it through.
