Can't wait to get mine!

Did you put in for a leopard?

Marcos, awesome job, that fish is fantastic!

I have the female and it's been doing great for nearly a year and a half. WIll there be an issue if I added a male?

How big of a tank do you need for one of these?

LiveAquaria says 50 gallons minimum.

Max size 6".

I did! Also have a couple of other fish on order.

hey rob. i'm sure you know but every fish will be different. between leopards i rarely see issues other than initial dominance assertion of the male more often than not in that situation. often times in a large enough aquarium you don't even see that and it's a couple days or weeks before any type of courtship might emerge. i always encourage folks to at least use an acclimation box when adding to an stocked tank. sometimes the aggressor turns out to be the long-lived pacifist in your tank. if you can add at night, or remove confirmed aggressors is optimal. or rearrange rock work prior to adding all these help ward off potentially negative introductions. also of course adding the healthiest and vigorous fish helps. oh, and for clarification to all those that have PM'd asking for a female to pair this one to, this is the female. feel free to PM with any other questions, sir. glad to help!

these guys are always on the move and i think ideal would be at least 4' of length. when i can i qt and treat in one of the 7' long tanks they use just about ever inch of it once accustomed and settled.  there are plenty of folks who keep leopards in 3-foot long tanks but something about my experience with them tell me it's not the "right" thing to do.

Marcos, would you recommend using an acclimation box with a leopard wrasse?

hey matt, yes i always recommend to use a few methods of introduction to ensure the least stressful introduction into an established tank with other tank-mates.
