I have green/brown algae growing on the glass of my aquarium I have 3 banded trochus snails, 1 mexican turbo snail, and some astraea snails. Is there anything else I can do to help remove the algae and maintain it clean.

Sounds like the start of coralline algea, especially if it is hard.   Get used to the idea of a scraper.   Snails do ok, but I still have to scrape my tank a few times a week.

I really like the Kent scrappers with the changeable yellow blades, they dont tend to scratch the glass.

yeah sounds like Coraline, I get some really cool colors mainly purple but I get some flourescent pink and orange spots every once in a while.

I have a 4" scraper I bought at HD, I think Walmart carries them too in the paint section, the blades rust pretty fast but they are $3 for a pack of 5 I think. pretty sure the scraper was under $5 with 2 blades, it takes me just over 1 min to clean the glass on a 4' tank

Yea sounds like coralline. It is pretty but becomes a nuisance in my opinion lol I need to try that mag float with metal blade attachment.
