davelin315 July 3, 2014 July 3, 2014 Watch out for sway on carpet. Until the padding and carpet gets compressed the tank can rock back and forth and if there is flex in the floor at all or significant vibrations, there's a very small chance it could slide off the stand.

I ended up moving the tank to the basement where the carpet padding is thin and there is no swaying.
