AlanM March 28, 2014 March 28, 2014 Are all AEFW that big? I have teensy weensy little worm/bug looking things that seem to be multiplying all over my glass. Around 1mm total. Strangely when I have ceriths on the glass they seem to congregate all under the cerith's body. And they move quick for their size. I can't get my dumb phone to focus on the inside surface of the glass.

Everyone gets excited when they see a flat worm but there are several species. The acro ones from what I have read are impossible to see. So you have to look for bite marks, eggs and watch carefully during dipping a coral with suspected flatworms.
surf&turf March 28, 2014 March 28, 2014 They are hard to see in the tank, but pull the coral out and let it dry a bit and they stick out like a sore thumb.

GraffitiSpotCorals March 29, 2014 March 29, 2014 Its like they know you can see only one side of the coral so tbey eat on the side you cant see. They are evil, smart little demons thats for sure.. Thanks for posting videos so everyone who doesnt know can learn about them. Also just because your buying from a wamas "Trusted member" (or reputable online site for that matter) does not mean they dont have aefw or red bugs.
