fishface January 24, 2006 January 24, 2006 For anyone that has not yet made it over to Fins and Feathers, you owe it to yourself. Call ahead to check when Sean is scheduled to be in. I added a mysis-eating green mandarin to my horse tank. What a beauty! FF

Guest oracleoca February 4, 2006 February 4, 2006 Do you have any Mandarins in stock and eating frozen food? If so, I would like to put one on hold until my pod population is adequate. Thanks Janie
F&Fmgr February 4, 2006 Author February 4, 2006 yes i have one spotted, or psychadelic, whose eating and has been for nine days now. would u like me to hold it for you? -Sean
gioNVA February 4, 2006 February 4, 2006 I was at F&F last night and the livestock there are really healthy. The mandarins there are nice and fat. Really good price on the corals. Not a huge selection but they are really nice. Sean, I was the one looking at the powder blue tang. Makes me look forward to a tank upgrade this summer . Good thing I'm within walking distance from F&F.
ReeferMan February 4, 2006 February 4, 2006 i think they had a good amount of corals compared to most stores besides maybe Marine Scene. Sean is trying to get a store just for fish and specialize in acros. If you havent check out his store you should, because his acros are a good deal IMO. He carries almost everything in the dry area and elements. Lots of test kit and frozen stuff as well. I will definately be back for more acros. BTW he sells small acro colonies for $40 which is only twice as much as some people sell 1 inch frags for!
Guest oracleoca February 6, 2006 February 6, 2006 What kind of frozen food and how often are you feeding the mandarins? Are you simply placing the food in the water and they chase after it or what? I just want to make sure I can take care of one before I purchase. Thanks Janie

Thanks Janie 52186[/snapback] Janie, the mandarin is kept with the seahorses, so i usually just dump some mysis in the tank and itll take him a minute or so, but then he digs in. Desnt eat a ton but enough to keep him fat. -Sean
