Kangaroo doser 'pump set'

Anyone know where I can buy a 'pump set' for the Kangaroo doser? Just got the doser in the mail and can't wait to try it... :D

What do you mean by a pump set?

 

The tubeing?

 

The pump itself?

 

Both? (If so what did you get in the mail).

 

I have some extra dual dosing tubing sets... Gonna be at the social tommorow?

The pump sets aren't so great... the only reason you really need one is to rob it of the drip capsule and the piece on the other side. Reefdosingpumps.com sells tubing in 2' lengths that you can use to replace the tubing that goes over the rollers after if wears out. It lasts for months, whereas the pump sets might last three weeks at the most.

 

FWIW, if enough of us use these type of pumps... maybe we can buy a roll of it from Cole Parmer direct. It has been a while since I looked but it is like $30 for a 25' roll.

Yup, I'll be at the meeting tomorrow. I guess I need the tube that wraps around the rollers and the part that inserts into the little snap-in thingie. I tried running it without the tube set and it gave me an error. Somehow it 'knows' that the tube is not inserted.

 

I'll bring the doser with me tomorow and perhaps one of you can show me how it works, as I don't have the manual. (besides the stickers that are on the unit)

What are you using it for? 2 part or single dosing?

 

I can bring you a brand new set for dosing 2 part, I don't really have an extra single set right now.

 

I would be interested in ordering some additonal single set tubing if the club is interested.
