Tracy G October 15, 2013 October 15, 2013 Anyone have a IT2080 evergrow fixture? Will this do a 4ft tank on its own?
Shoelace October 15, 2013 October 15, 2013 Tagging along and following your build, Tracy I need to choose some lights, too.
YHSublime October 15, 2013 October 15, 2013 The it2080 left the corners pretty low on my 36" tank with 90 degree optics. I would say you'd be better off with 3 D120's. Just opinion, no facts here.
monkiboy October 15, 2013 October 15, 2013 i have a IT2080 over my sister's 4' long reef that i set up for her and it works well. the sides are a definitely lighter in PAR/intensity obviously but great for LPS and fish that need a break from bright light. if you want to stick with IT series, i'd go for two IT2060s for glass to glass SPS coverage.
YHSublime October 15, 2013 October 15, 2013 if you want to stick with IT series, i'd go for two IT2060s for glass to glass SPS coverage. Right, scratch my 3 d120's idea, that makes a lot more sense.
Shoelace October 15, 2013 October 15, 2013 Is it true that Reefbreeders and Evergrow have some fixtures in common?
monkiboy October 15, 2013 October 15, 2013 Is it true that Reefbreeders and Evergrow have some fixtures in common? well ,yes, all of them because reefbreeders is simply a reseller of evergrow fixtures.
