jefftse October 11, 2013 Share October 11, 2013 How high is your TDS coming from your water source? I recently moved to a new home that has well water. My TDS is coming in at 340-350 and new DI chamber exhausted in a week. In my old home with city water, it was at average 150, and the DI can last for a long time before changing. Should I consider water softening system? Thanks
Orion October 11, 2013 Share October 11, 2013 My TDS is anywhere from 100-130 coming from the tap. Inline dual TDS meter reads 2 before water passes through the DI, and 0 after the water passes the DI chamber.

londonloco October 13, 2013 Share October 13, 2013 My well water tests 500+ out of tap (Independant Hill area of Manassas). Let it aerate in a fw cichlid tank, it can rise to 700-ish. We don't drink our water, but do bathe in it.
