I'm looking online at reefs2go.com where they have a deal for 25 peppermint shrimp for $125. Does anyone here have experience with these people, especially in regards to this particular deal? I've got a bad aiptasia problem and I can't afford to buy shrimp at LFS prices as I've already been through 4 that have just disappeared without eating any aiptasia at all. Looking at reviews on other forums they don't seem to have the best rep, but they seem to be good for CUC.

They are very good. I just order CUC from them last week everything come in live. They will contact you to confirm day availible before the package ship out .

Good luck

I've ordered from them several times, and everything has been as advertised.

I can add to that, I have ordered from them quite a bit and can say that they have gotten better and better with there stuff. I mostly order CUC and Inverts from them along with Coral and have no complaints.

If you need a lot, check out Reeftopia.com and their lot prices. You can get 25 for about $52.50 or 50 for $95. Free shipping on orders over $125. Send them an email if something is listed as out-of-stock and they may be able to take care of you.

Those are incredible prices! Unfortunately, I just checked their website and they list peppermint shrimp lots as out of stock, but thanks for the heads up!

That's why I said to send them an email (or even give them a call). I have dealt with them in the past and they're quite open and honest. (The regular - piece price is nice, too, if you can make the minimum.)

I actually ordered today. Reefs2Go have a special on 6 peppermints for $14.99. They are only 1/2", but that is probably better as I'm jamming 24 of those bad boys in my 72g. Saved a bunch of cash and picked up a bunch of crabs, starfish etc. with the savings!

BTW, I just realized that we have a Reefs2Go experience posted in the Vendor Feedback forum. If you'd just searched on "Reefs2Go" here it would have turned up. Results have been mixed. Especially in their early years when they transacted business under another name.

I did see that, but I don't take much stock in older stuff. Good turns bad and vice versa. I gleaned from other forums that most people admit that bad stuff has gone down, but the majority of CUC orders tended to be fine. I will cross my fingers!

As will I.......thanks for letting me tag along!

Feel free to update the Vendor Experience with a new thread afterwards. It helps all of us. (I agree that things do change. In fact, as I recall, Christina hit on some hard times with some personal matter when one of our group buys went south a while back. Assuming that she straightened that out, there's a good chance that she's running smoothly again.) BTW, I have ordered a little bit from them in the more recent past - pods, I think - using their ebay link and had no problems with the order. I've used Reeftopia more recently for a large peppermint order and had a very good experience there, also.
