YHSublime April 26, 2013 April 26, 2013 Came out yesterday morning to check on the tank, and found my Peppermint Shrimp halfed, head and what legs were left frantically blowing from my MP40. Obviously dead, but so mysterious. I wonder what he was after? I have a cover over it for the nems who have yet to budge. Coincidentally, the night before, I placed an order for 10 peppermints. Maybe he knew? It's a shame, as he was one of my favorite characters in the tank, and has been with me since the beginning, which isn't that long ago, but he had really grown fat. I'm sure my CUC could have handled it, but I threw the top half away, I've been feeding heavy this week, and didn't want to foul up the tank any more, tonight is due for a water change anyways. Speaking of feeding heavy, tried blackworms yesterday. My fish didn't touch them. Then I put pellets in, and they went nuts. They also go nuts for Jans. My nems enjoyed the black worms with a ferocity I've never seen before, so not a total waste I suppose.
