Pistol/Goby, not to worry?

I see my Goby all the time, it's the pistol I'm not sure about.

I did. I'm going to try them in my Biocube and see how that goes, more of a chance to check them out.

I mean, the shrimp is obviously in there somewhere, I just don't know if it's paired, or if they found each other.

I got two gobies and one shrimp. The old one and shrimp has been in there for maybe 6 or 7 months, I don't remember but the smaller gobi I added a couple of months ago, it was half it's size then. I am hoping to spawn them in a few months when she grows a little more.

Nice colors! I can add 2 gobbies and 2 shrimp to the same tank, right? I was going to put dif. Pairs in dif tanks.

What type of goby are they? Are they diamond or orange stripe? Very cool looking. I may have to rethink the Yellow Watchman then.

Not always, sometimes 2 males will fight and kill each other.I can't tell males from females and I just experiment.As for watchmans, some of them start out yellow like this . Then they turn into this, This pair lived in my tank over 10 years and spawned for all of that time. This is her with her eggs Edited March 27, 2013 by paul b

So are you saying that the one's you posted earlier are watchman?

The yellow baby and those two brownish ones are the same fish and they are watchmans. Not the ones with the shrimp.
