Type of Glue You Use

I'm curious what glue everyone uses in their reef tanks? I know there is so called "reef" glue and people use super glue, but is there one out there that is better than another. Brand names and where you get them would also be great to know.....

i use super glue but have found that if you dont give it enough time say a minute or so, its a good chance it could fall off.

I use CVS super glue gel.

Comes in a 2 pk by the school supplies.

I've been using epoxy tube that I get at the LFS.

Check the local hobby shop, you can usually get various sizes & types of "super glue" for much less than the tiny packs @ the drug store, supermarket, etc.

I decided to use the cravices and holes in the rocks to attach new frags.

I use the Duro or Loctite brand of super glue gels. Those are both alot thicker than some of the brands I've used. The "coral glue" that the Marine Scene and some online vendors sell is really thin and hard to work with.

Any super glue works. i think the gels work better. Not as running.

The super glue gel is used to glue a frag to a piece of rubble.

There is also the use of epoxy putty to attach the frag and or rubble to your rockwork. Plumbers putty is another name for it- it is two part light grey on the outside and dark on the inside wich comes in a plastic sleved tube- cut off a piece and massage the piece to one uniform color and it feels warm. It will finish setting up under water- and looks like a small lump of cement grey when dry- but will coraline encrust quick and blend into the tank- It is also a bit more fragile than rock and can be pried up with a knife/srewdriver if you need to move the frag.
