AlanM February 16, 2013 February 16, 2013 If the 2 part chemicals were in the basement and the tank and sump were upstairs would it be better to put peristaltic dosers up by the tank pulling the chemicals up or would it be better to put them downstairs and pushing the chemicals up. I think it would work either way, and when I asked the question of Avast about their ATO deluxe they said it didn't matter, but maybe a much slower 1.1ml doser would be different?
Origami February 16, 2013 February 16, 2013 It doesn't matter if the tubing walls are thick and won't collapse under about 5 psi per 10 feet of vertical lift. If they did, put the pump under so it pushes. For high lifts, push the water up rather than pulling. (Sent from my phone)

I'd use ro/di tubing, so I think it wouldn't collapse, but it would be about 10 feet. It makes a difference on if I have to get another eb8 for the apex and a longish usb cable to the basement from the tank upstairs to control it.

Didn't think of an extension cord from the eb8 upstairs. Thanks. Stuff like this is why I ask questions even if I think I might know the right way to do it, because I'm usually not seeing something obvious.
