Fishie November 10, 2012 November 10, 2012 Saw this on la...I don't see these guys too often and it's paired http://www.liveaquaria.com/diversden/ItemDisplay.cfm?c=2733+3&ddid=170495
smallreef November 11, 2012 November 11, 2012 Those are my bucket list fish! When i have finished moving and we build i will have a nice large lps/softy tank with them! they are often hard to find paired but I personally have seen a pair about once a year...
swffan November 11, 2012 November 11, 2012 They are awesome looking fish. That's the second pair they've had in the past 2 weeks that sold within 48 hrs. Wish I had a tank big enough for a pair
zygote2k November 11, 2012 November 11, 2012 8" fish need a 500+ gallon tank to be comfortable. They would probably nip at LPS....
smallreef November 11, 2012 November 11, 2012 Crosshatch triggers are one of the ONLY triggers considered to be reef safe(excluding shrimps and snails, lol)... I have seen about 12 different ones in 12 different tanks over the years with sps and lps and never nipped.... that being said there are always exceptions but as far as I have ever seen and heard they are not nippers...
Leishman November 11, 2012 November 11, 2012 I had a pair in my 65x36x25. They never touched a thing in the tank but they ate too much and that was just too much crap going in the tank. They had to go.
smallreef November 11, 2012 November 11, 2012 Mosy triggers are veryyyyy messy..but thats why i think i did so well with all the softies in my tank,lol...but back then i also ran a skimmer that was sized 2x bigger than my tank and a large UV sterilizer...
