Jim November 6, 2012 Share November 6, 2012 I visited the Waikiki Aquarium recently and was able to snap this picture of the Peppermint Angelfish. It's the only one in captivity in the U.S. as far as I know.

Chad November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 is that in hawaii? Yes, it is at the Waikiki aquarium, which is essentially at the far eastern end of Waikiki Beach. It's an older aquarium without any of the HUGE aquariums that are standard in more modern aquariums. However, what they do, they do very very well and they have some awesome things in there. Well worth the visit.
