john guest fittings

I am going to be setting up a bean animal overflow on my tank, and by looking at the website it seems pretty straight foward in setting it up. But I have no idea what a john guest fitting is. What exactly is it, and where can I pick one up?

John Guest fittings are the push lock fittings. Google John Guest fittings

I had looked at pics and they are not clear, so I actually just looked it up on youtube and now I know what they are.

 

So where do you get them, I dont recall every seeing them at lowes or HD

BRK has them and Lowes has em too.

Depot and Lowes have them

what section are they in? Are they in the area by the pvc fittings?

Ask for the fitting for ice maker connections.

Look in the section with all the other fittings in plumbing....the wall with small parts in little baggies.

ok so I found the fitting at lowes, but they dont carry drill taps anymore the guy said. So where can I get a drill tap?
