I read the article but is not clear what they are doing. Are they raising the salinity SPG in the water? Do they say what gravity they keep it at?

Yeah I had a hard time figuring out what they were talking about too. This is the first time I've seen the phrase "coral stem cells" ... and as much salt as you'd find on a margherita glass? So what they're going maybe to 1.028? 1.029? I mean... I thought seawater was close to 1.025? But I'd read recently that it was more like 1.028. I suppose it depends on where you are...

Interesting research... on the part of the researchers, not on the part of the reporter.

It probably won't work but what the heck...

I'll cut two fresh frags of similar size, dip one in extra saline water and

then put them next to each other to grow them out and see what the

heck happens.
