Qt tank

I was going to setup a 10 g qt tank..

Couple questions

 

Can I use an airstone

Should I use carbon in a qt tank in the filtration.

I have a 250 w spare heater ...can i hide that within a PVC pipe and use it or just get a small 50 w heater

Personally, I'd do a 50w.

If you run any medications during the QT, you should remove the carbon. Otherwise, it's fine to use. Airstone is OK, too. 50W is more than enough for a 10 gallon tank.
