I'm not typically an LPS guy but I came across some cool new stuff I couldn't resist! Obligatory pictures of course.

Anyone got experience fragging a Symphyllia? Dremel or tile saw? :lol2:

A combo of both dremel and tile saw. It depends on the shape of the coral. I will be watching the for sale section now.

Update for future reference: Chalice was done with Dremel on backside and razor on flesh side. Australomussa and Favia worked well with a wet tile saw. Everything is healing up nicely so

 

Haven't done the Symphyllia yet as I'm still trying to get a good feel on how to do it. Ideas?

Hey if you ever want to use a reefkeeper wet band saw made for reefing I have one and would only tax for a frag of course,but you have to come to my house
