Mike Mann February 26, 2012 February 26, 2012 So i have a bunch of green mushrooms and they are spreading like crazy taking over places i dont want them too. i dont know much about it but how do i remove them? and is there a way to do it without killing?
Origami February 26, 2012 February 26, 2012 Pull the rock and scrape them off. If you take off a little of the rock with them and if you want to save them, glue them down to pieces of rubble and trade them with other people who really like mushrooms. I had some green striped mushrooms in a small tank once. They spread so quickly, that I had no issues with scraping them off and getting rid of them.
Mike Mann February 26, 2012 Author February 26, 2012 Thanks, would it be a problem to scrape them in the tank also? i have some on a 30 pound piece of rock thats EXTREMELY hard to move?

You're going to then siphon them out, I suppose? You'll get organic slime and perhaps some mild toxins released if you do this in the tank. If you do too many this way, you may foul the water.
