dakotasreef December 29, 2011 Share December 29, 2011 I'm going to guess an older coralife or current usa fixture. Post a picture of the fixture ends and ballasts, assuming they are original.
zygote2k December 29, 2011 Share December 29, 2011 If it has hanging holes on the top that look like 1 smaller circle merging with a bigger circle, then you can use current hanging kits.
Buucca December 29, 2011 Share December 29, 2011 (edited) looks like an older version of the AquaTraders 3x250w + 4x65w unit. but older than the ones they show now. Edited December 29, 2011 by Buucca

Buucca December 29, 2011 Share December 29, 2011 By the way. You may want to upgrade the aquatraders ballast because they make the halides a little yellow. I replaced mine with Blueline 250w ballast and what a difference it makes.

Origami December 30, 2011 Share December 30, 2011 I'll second the replacement of these ballasts. You probably have the 250W version. I had these long ago and took some measurements before replacing them. These ballasts draw 250W from the outlet, but only delivery about 180-190W to the lamp, giving you substandard PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) and a spectrum shifted to the yellow-red side of the spectrum. In other words, they're a poorly made, lossy electronic ballast. Upgrade to a quality ballast, and you and your corals will be much, much happier with the light quality and even your electric bill (because of the improved efficiency).
