Light ID

Ok so how do I get the info on my light over my 180, I have looked all over the light and ballast and no name.... I need to get a hanging kit for it and need the name brand....

looks like an older version of the AquaTraders 3x250w + 4x65w unit. but older than the ones they show now.

By the way. You may want to upgrade the aquatraders ballast because they make the halides a little yellow. I replaced mine with Blueline 250w ballast and what a difference it makes.

I'll second the replacement of these ballasts. You probably have the 250W version. I had these long ago and took some measurements before replacing them. These ballasts draw 250W from the outlet, but only delivery about 180-190W to the lamp, giving you substandard PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) and a spectrum shifted to the yellow-red side of the spectrum. In other words, they're a poorly made, lossy electronic ballast. Upgrade to a quality ballast, and you and your corals will be much, much happier with the light quality and even your electric bill (because of the improved efficiency).
