steveoutlaw December 2, 2011 December 2, 2011 Ok, looks like I'm going to have to put my skimmer in my sump. I have very limited room so it's really going to be packed in the skimmer area. Not sure how I want to position it but wanted to see pictures of others who have small sumps all cramped up.
rioreef December 3, 2011 December 3, 2011 If you can put the sump out in the open and easily accessible would make any sump not seem cramped. Just from the standpoint of easy maintenance and maneuverability.
steveoutlaw December 3, 2011 Author December 3, 2011 I have a 60g cube and just looking for ideas to make the most out of a sump.
jason the filter freak December 4, 2011 December 4, 2011 I don't know about cramped sump mine is pretty small, the guy with the new 20 gallon shallow has a pretty small sump, you can check out my thread in teh dedicated tank area for a cramped under stand.
FearTheTerps December 4, 2011 December 4, 2011 (edited) Do you already have your sump? How large is the space to place the sump and other components in? I have a plan in my head for a 60 gallon cube seahorse tank, just be thankful you dont have to hide a chiller somewhere too, I still havent figured that part out, at this point its just a pipe dream though.
