yagerboy September 10, 2011 September 10, 2011 I am looking for arcrylic rods to create rock islands and am looking for a place local to Prince William/Fairfax/Fauquier County? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
GraffitiSpotCorals September 10, 2011 September 10, 2011 I would guess that Michaels would have them.
Origami September 10, 2011 September 10, 2011 Give the Hobby Hanger a call. They're off of RT 50 in Chantilly so they're close. I'm not sure, however, if I've every seen them there, but it can't hurt to call. I've used them for carbon fiber rods to make replacement impeller shafts.
DaveS September 10, 2011 September 10, 2011 I have 1, possibly 2 that I never used for my rockwork. They are 3/8" or 1/2" I think and still in the original wrapping. If you want them, I can dig them out and provide more info.
Steve G September 11, 2011 September 11, 2011 I am looking for arcrylic rods to create rock islands and am looking for a place local to Prince William/Fairfax/Fauquier County? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks I used clear acrylic rods for my rockwork. I am pretty sure I got them at Home Depot or Lowe's. THey were replacement rods for venetian blinds and just cost me a few dollars. Good luck, Steve
trockafella September 12, 2011 September 12, 2011 Ive never had any luck locally. Either had to order online or go to Piedmont Plastics in Beltsville. I tried every lowes/HD, hobby shop and craft shop.
