electronic parts

Does anyone know of any electronic parts stores in the dc area? Im looking for a 16pin female header or female breakaway header. Its the one part I missed on my order so im trying to avoid shipping. Arcade electronics doesn't carry them.

I might be able to look around to see if we have one. Are you looking for a soldertail version? Straight or right angle? What's the spacing on the pins, 0.1"? Post size? I'm assuming this is a two-row header (2x8)? If you have a part number, it would probably help.

Single row. 01 spacing 16 pin female pcb. Not sure the height ill have to look at the male when I get home.it solders straight to the pcb.

This is driving me crazy. I think I remember an electronics place in Arlington someplace. But I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. I guess there's a chance that it's not there any longer because it's been quite some time since I've been there.

You're probably remembering Arlington Electronics. I don't know if they're still around. They may be. I've not been there in 25 years.
